If a JD upload or search is returning zero, few, or irrelevant candidates, try the following:

1. Broaden job titles - search similar/related titles, not just one exact title (e.g. also try "Head HR", "Head of Human Resources" alongside "HR Head").
2. While searching for a rare or specialized skill? Keep 'Good to Have' skills to a minimum, or remove them entirely. Even though they're marked optional, each one still narrows your
results - so stacking several on top of an already-rare skill can leave you with very few candidates, or none at all
3. Use both the acronym and full form of skills/keywords (e.g. "HRIS" and "Human Resource Information System") to capture more matches.
4. Add more closely related or relevant skills and keywords to broaden the search.
5. Move some relevant skills into the Experience section where applicable, instead of only listing them as required skills.
6. Relax the experience range slightly (e.g. instead of 10-15 years, try 8-17 years).
7. If location is flexible, add a second acceptable location to widen the pool.
8. Try the AI Assistant Zuri, or Cube Search, as an alternative to Flash Search.

These approaches have measurably improved results in similar cases. If you're still not getting a sufficient pool after trying these, contact support with your JD or search criteria attached.
